Aerotek Equipment Maintenance Technician - Semiconductor in Hillsboro, Oregon

Description:

Multiple openings for experienced Equipment Maintenance Technicians in Hillsboro. This is a high-tech environment that is working in a cleanroom environment to support semiconductor manufacturing by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery. This is not an entry level role. Salary is open for discussion based on recent, relevant experience.

  • Able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fab equipment. This includes electronics, electrical, and mechanical systems.

  • Able to improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive tool break downs

  • Monitor and analyze all related tool data, make recommendation and improvements to maintenance procedures

  • Work with engineers to design and execute equipment improvements projects

  • Able to clearly communicate machine status verbally in daily pass-down meetings

  • Able to provide clear written communication to engineers and technicians on other shifts

Shifts:

Sun - Tues every other Wednesday

Thurs - Sat every other Wednesday

Day 6:30am - 6:30pm

Night 6:30pm - 6:30am (15% shift differential)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in technical related field and/or Military Electronics training OR prior Technician experience in a wafer fab (5+ years)

• Strong mechanical and electronic knowledge/skills

• Proficiency in use of computers, including MS Office

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across functions

• Strong time management skills to enable on-time task completion

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Ability to perform physical requirements: stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift, lift up to 35 pounds, and wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment

  • Willing to consider candidates who do not have an educational or military training in electronics if they have 5+ years of related industry experience performing high level repairs on semiconductor equipment.
