CNC Service Technician

Davis Tool has an opening for an experienced CNC Service Technician. Located in Hillsboro, Oregon, Davis Tool is a premier contract manufacturing company providing machining, sheet metal, assembly, and other services to the Aerospace, High tech, and Medical industries. Davis Tool occupies a 200,000+ sq. ft. building with engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments to give full service to our customers.

Qualified candidates will have 5 or more years of experience repairing electrical and mechanical issues on CNC machine tools.

Daily tasks include:

  • Repairing and maintaining:

  • CNC mills, lathes, EDM’s, lasers, punches, brakes

  • Manual and automatic mills, lathes, grinders, ect

  • Mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, software, electrical, and pneumatic systems

  • Move, assemble, and install equipment

  • Preventive maintenance

  • Use precision measuring tools to verify compliance to engineering specifications and tolerances

    We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have in depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Can interpret and follow:

  • Drawings

  • Ladder and schematic diagrams

  • General instructions

  • Have knowledge of and follow standard safety regulations

  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Have the ability to lift 50 pounds

    Education and Qualifications:

  • Degree, certificate, or demonstrated experience in related field; Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automated Machinery Systems
