Davis Tool, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team to create CNC programs and process documentation for multi-axis lathes and milling machines. We manufacture a wide variety of parts for the Aerospace, High Tech, and Medical industries. The successful candidate will create high quality CNC programs that meet or reduce quoted machine setup and run times within a specified time limit.

    A typical day’s tasks would include, but is not limited to:

  • Create efficient and accurate CNC programs

  • Improve efficiency of existing CNC programs.

  • Utilize MRP software in the creation of tool lists for CNC programs that provide maximum metal removal rates for a variety of materials.

  • Provide feedback and suggestions on fixture design and contribute to the development of manufacturing plans.

  • Work with machinists to improve existing processes.

    Candidates must have the following skills and experience:

  • E xperience d as a CNC programmer .

  • Siemens N X experience is preferred but not required .

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, on both technical and non-technical matters.

  • Ability to read & understand engineering drawings & common CNC programming languages.

  • Experience running CNC equipment in a production environment.

    Monday – Friday workweek

    D ay Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm

    P osition requires on-site work (no remote work)
