Lockheed Martin Modification Tooling Technician, F-35 - Level 4 in Hill Air Force Base, Utah
Description: What You Will Be Doing
We are currently seeking a dedicated Technician to join our dynamic team. Tool Management duties in support of Ogden F-35 Depot operations consist of:
- Receipt of new modification tooling kits from Fort Worth, CEVA, and other CONUS/OCONUS sites; 100% reconciliation of any errors prior to transfer of ownership to the customer
- Managing the replacement of rigid and consumable tooling such as drill bits, reamers, fixtures, etc.; coordinating logistics movement for calibration and movement for shared resources between all other F-35 modification sites
- Collaboration with the Manufacturing Engineering team to problem solve issues concerning tooling form, fit, or function; ensuring strict control and effectivity of all tooling kits per requirements in AFI 21-101 and F-35 program requirements
- Daily communication with the customer at all levels
- Candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, structure repair manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.

Basic Qualifications:
Familiarity with engineering drawings / schematics / technical instructions
3-5 years aircraft sheet metal / maintenance experience
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience working in a team environment
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with PDM/VAS/JTD/JDL
Previous F-35 aircraft depot/MUO program experience
F-35 sheet metal / structures experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
