Design To Delivery Inc Materials Engineer in Hill Air Force Base, Utah

Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is a minority-owned, women-owned small business. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, D2DInc provides services to public-sector organizations in the areas of acquisition and procurement support, contract administration and closeout, development and administration of small business outreach programs, training, administrative support, and marketing communications materials. Our customers include civilian and defense federal government agencies.

D2DInc is seeking a Materials Engineer to support a government customer Hill AFB, Utah area. The qualified individual will be customer-focused and team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working level materials-engineering services.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Degree in mechanical or materials engineering + 6 years of related engineering experience

    OR

  •  MS Degree in mechanical or materials engineering + 4 years of related engineering experience

               OR

  • PhD Degree in mechanical or materials engineering + 2 years of related engineering experience

  • Systems Engineering Experience and/or Certification

  • Journeyman skill set includes ability to perform all stated/implied duties within this tier and those reasonably derived from preceding tier

  • Professional Engineering License desired

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Ability to interact professionally and collaboratively with others exhibiting decorum and discretion at all times.

  • Individual must be self-motivated, a fast learner and able to complete tasks with minimal direction and supervision

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must have an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
