Design To Delivery Inc Drafting/CAD Professional in Hill Air Force Base, Utah

Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is a minority-owned, woman-owned small business. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, D2DInc provides services to public-sector organizations in the areas of acquisition and procurement support, contract administration and closeout, development and administration of small business outreach programs, training, administrative support, and marketing communications materials. Our customers include civilian and defense federal government agencies.

Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is seeking a Drafting/CAD Professional in the Hill AFB, Utah Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Capable of using CAD software in generating detailed engineering drawings necessary to support engineering studies and reports.

  • Applies knowledge and skill in drafting methods, procedures, and techniques to illustrate or depict scientific or technical subjects and equipment.

  • Develops and prepares technical drawings and illustrations of structural, mechanical, or electrical equipment, systems, and assemblies.

  • Develops and produces assembly and component drawings, exploded views and schematic diagrams

  • As depicted in illustrations, may be required to compute weights, loads, dimensions, or material quantities.

  • Completes project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule.

  • Participates in project meetings and conference calls as required.

  • Prepares engineering documents for customer submittal.

  • May be asked to provide leadership and guidance when questions arise, and review completed work for accuracy

  • Journeyman skill set includes ability to perform all stated/implied duties within this tier and those reasonably derived from preceding tier

    Qualifications & Education:

    • BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field + 4 years of experience OR MS degree + 2 years of experience OR PHD + 1 years of experience

    Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen

  • Active Secret Clearance
