Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineers of various skill levels to join our team in the Hill AFB, UT area. This position may allow for a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of systematic, disciplined, and quantifiable approaches to the development, operation, and maintenance of software, encompassing techniques and procedures often regulated by a software development process with the purpose of improving the reliability and maintainability of software systems.

  • Establishes software information and engineering requirements which is necessitated by the potential complexity of those software systems, which may contain millions of lines of code.

  • Applies the discipline of software engineering for specific technical problems and procedures, including knowledge, tools, and methods for software requirements, software design, software construction, software testing, and software maintenance tasks.

  • Relates the disciplines of software engineering to the disciplines of computer science, computer engineering, management, mathematics, project management, quality management, software ergonomics, and systems engineering.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or additional work experience

  • 5-12 years of relevant work experience to qualify for level II; 12+ years of experience to qualify for level III.

  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

  • Knowledge of DoD/USAF F-16, A-10, or T-38 programs and capabilities

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
