Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Tax Sr. - Corporate role based in High Point, North Carolina. This role primarily revolves around assisting clients in their tax and accounting practice. The individual will be involved in various client projects, including but not limited to flow through, trust and individual tax return preparation. This role is positioned within a well-established CPA firm and offers a harmonious office environment with a focus on work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with the preparation of flow-through, trust and individual tax returns.

• Address client IRS issues, providing accurate and timely resolution.

• Engage in tax planning activities to ensure optimal tax strategies for clients.

• Prepare financial statements as per the client's requirements.

• Consult on special projects, providing expert advice and guidance.

• Contribute to practice development, helping to expand the firm's client base and services.

• Utilize various accounting software systems to perform tasks efficiently.

• Apply knowledge of tax-related software such as Creative Solutions - UltraTax and Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software.

• Handle fiduciary income tax returns and estate tax return tasks.

• Manage partnership tax and partnership tax returns

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, CPA or licensing in process required.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience with Creative Solutions - UltraTax is preferred.

• Knowledge of Fiduciary Income Tax Return is preferred.

• Should be able to prepare complex Individual Tax Returns.

• Familiarity with Flow-through Tax and S-Corp/Partnership Tax Returns is necessary.

• Expertise in Tax - Fiduciary - Trust & Estate is .a plus

• Proficiency in Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software is a plus.
