Comp: $70,000 - $85,000 ($33.65 - $40.87 / hour) - Component / Piece Pay.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fiber To the Home Installer (FTTH) to join our team. As a Fiber To the Home Installer (FTTH), you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fiber optic cables that provide high-speed internet and other communication services to residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Install fiber optic cables and related equipment in customers' homes and businesses.

  • Splice and terminate fiber optic cables according to industry standards and company procedures.

  • Test and troubleshoot fiber optic cables to ensure proper performance and functionality.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support by answering questions and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while working at heights and in tight spaces.

  • Follow company procedures and guidelines for proper equipment handling and maintenance.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.

  • Stay up-to-date with new technology, trends, and industry developments related to fiber optic installation and services.

    Requirements:

  • Previous experience in fiber optic installation, telecommunications, or related field preferred - Experience directly with a telecom company or 3rd party installer / repair contractor good.

  • Valid driver's license and a vehicle capable of having a ladder rack added to it for the purposes of carrying a 28' fiberglass telecom ladder to it. You are compensated for the use of your vehicle on a per-job basis.
