WestRock Company Production Coordinator in Hicksville, New York

GENERAL PURPOSE: Provide administrative support to the production, scheduling and planning departments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintains up to date and accurate information on products in process in both hard copy and electronic formats. (Ensuring that the time sheets match the SFDC)

  • Produces and provides daily, weekly and monthly production reports.

  • Attends all Daily Management System (DMS) meetings.

  • Provides support to production and planning functions with regard to daily activities and meetings.

  • Reviews Production Time Sheets on a daily basis to ensure forms are completed correctly.

  • Investigates and corrects anomalies on SFDC.

  • Evaluates and provides feedback on Make Ready and Non-productive time from the production floor.

  • Helps with projects as needed.

  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.

  • 1 - 2 years’ related experience preferred.

  • Must have intermediate computer skills.

  • Must be well organized and able to manage multiple tasks.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.

  • Must have good communication skills both written and oral.

  • Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

  • Must be able to maintain good attendance.

  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.

  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
