Responsibilities: Report to the Finance Coordinator, supervise program bookkeeping staff and analyze program financial activity to ensure budgetary and contract compliance. Prepare and/or review monthly claims for submission to funder, analyze disallowances, resubmit for payment and monitor Accounts Receivables relating to claims. Communicate with funding authorities and internal program management regarding program reimbursement procedures, answering questions and/or providing information. Prepare and oversee program budgets working alongside Program Directors, including but not limited to reviewing budget variances and preparing budget modifications. Review program vouchers and cash receipts, and approve for processing. Prepare program month-end closings and financial statements ensuring accuracy of journal entries and month-end account analysis. Coordinate six month and year end account analysis for programs assigned. Coordinate other periodic reports for programs as required including completing financial information for audits when necessary.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree; Accounting preferred. Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience with budget preparation preferred. 1-2 years experience supervising or leading a team a plus. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Suite. Schedule: full time 35 hours per week 9 am 5 pm Rate of Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 per year This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
