About The Role

We are searching for a well-organized, reliable electronics technician to join the OneH2 Infrastructure Deployment Team. The electronics technician's responsibilities include installing, commissioning, and testing OneH2 manufactured electrical and electronic equipment. The Electronics Technician will be employed to use measuring and diagnostic tools, reading manuals and electrical schematics, assisting with training, recruitment, and electronic upgrades, and reporting to the supervisor. You should be able to provide excellent customer service and manage electronic systems and equipment efficiently.

To be successful as an electronics technician, you should demonstrate strong mechanical skills and enjoy performing tasks with your hands. Outstanding electronics technicians can use a wide range of resources to solve problems and feel comfortable working alone and in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, commissioning, and testing OneH2-manufactured electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Working with the manufacturing team to discuss design shortfalls for an environment that harbors a continuous state of improvement.
  • Interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions to perform duties.
  • Update software and program PLCs as needed.
  • Promote and provide a safe working environment
  • Ability to build and wire electrical panels using UL specifications.
  • Able to utilize piping and instrumentation diagrams (PandIDs) and electrical wiring diagrams for installation of sensors, actuators, 3HP motors, 3HP heaters, etc.
  • Ability to pull wire, install fixtures, and perform periodic maintenance on electrical systems in compliance with local codes and safety protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment, utilizing PCBs, electrical prints, and OEM documentation.
  • Must be able to assist with new equipment installations or modifications of existing equipment.
  • Ability to fabricate and wire electronic devices working from drawings, wire diagrams, and/or Sketches.
  • Ability to repair a variety of electronic instruments, applying established general troubleshooting techniques and procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree or completed coursework in engineering or electronics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use electrical measuring and diagnostic equipment, such as a multimeter
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
  • Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills
  • Experience with working with high-voltage electricity
  • Experience with working with PLCs and HMIs
  • Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
  • Willingness to travel to infrastructure deployment sites
  • Ability to travel between 10% to 20% of the time and work overtime as needed.
