Job Description
General Motors Israel (Herzliya) takes a significant part in shaping the autonomous vehicle. We impact the future vehicles in diverse fields by developing cutting edge technologies. Within GM Israel, over 600 people working in an hybrid flexible mode on one of the most exciting challenges of our days.
Perception Integration team in General M otors Autonomous Driving (AD) group integrate, deploy and run various testing to verify and validate the product functionality that is being developed inhouse.
We are looking for a System Integration Engineer, a key position that requires a combination of high technical skills and systematic view.
The role includes hands-on testing and validation of complex embedded systems, qualitative bug reports and analysis, and require strong inter-personal skills.
What will you do?
Integration and Validation of SW releases of perception stack deliveries
Maintain high level of functional delivery and act as a technical focal point to local teams.
Troubleshoot and debug issues from real life vehicle scenarios.
Integration of perception deliveries for various vehicle platforms
Support Development teams in complex scenario reproductions
Interface with system architects and other SIEs in advancing and improving the solution.
Evaluation and Analysis of system functionality and performance

Additional Job Description
What are we looking for?
Over 4 years Hands on Experience in System Validation/Integration or real time development roles
BSc. / MSc. or equivalent experience in Electrical/Communications Engineering / Computer science.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Experience with Embedded systems
Aptitude to integration/validation and cross-team cooperation.
Working knowledge in Linux/QNX, GIT and SW integration
Experience in working embedded systems on field/vehicle – Advantage.
High system-level understanding
Ability to work with complex software systems
Hands-on tenacious approach
English level – highly proficient in spoken and written English – Must.
