Penn State Health Children’s Hospital Division of Academic General Pediatrics is seeking a General Pediatrician with academic and patient care interests to join our dynamic and thriving group.

Our Division has over 30 providers and is committed to excellent clinical care, teaching, and research. Interested applicants, please send CV and Cover Letter to Anderson Smith, at asmith50@pennstatehealth.psu.edu

  • Our Division’s responsibilities include 3 patient care offices in Hershey, Elizabethtown, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Some Division members attend on the newborn nursery service in the Children’s Hospital.

  • A full complement of ancillary staff including excellent administrative support, a social worker, and care coordination.

The Division also has:

  • Programs/expertise in Lactation, Integrative Medicine, Complex Care, Neonatology follow-up, and Tic and Movement Disorders.

  • An extensive portfolio of clinical and translational research.

  • extensive opportunities in pediatric education. The Division is home to the Pediatric Residency Program Director and the Associate Director for a T32-funded Primary Care Research Fellowship.

What we’re seeking:

  • Candidates should be board certified/board eligible in general pediatrics with academic interests

  • MD, D.O., or foreign equivalent

  • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

  • An interest in research would be supported but is not required
