Frontend software Engineer

Location: TDC SW LTG Sweden AB, Herrljunga (Hybrid), Sweden, Full-time

We are continuing to build our team by adding a Frontend Software Engineer to our Software Technology Development Center

Summary:

Seeking an experienced Front-end Software Engineer to join our Software Technology Development Center. Dive into the heart of our Luminator Suite, developing both a web app for displaying passenger information and a management portal for back-end operations. Must be skilled in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, and Azure DevOps. Familiarity with Agile, Linux, Git, and Cypress is a plus. Help us shape the next-generation of passenger information systems.

KEY  Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and develop software solutions.

  • Transform UX/UI designs into functional code.

  • Develop and maintain a responsive, efficient, and scalable web interface.

  • Seek opportunities for system enhancements and refactoring.

  • Implement responsive web applications.

  • Integrate RESTful API connections to backend systems.

  • Craft quality mockups and prototypes.

  • Work closely with back-end developers and designers to enhance user experience.

  • Uphold graphic standards and ensure brand consistency.

  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, ensuring high code coverage.

  • Stay informed on the latest industry technologies and best practices.

  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability.

  • Develop automatic tests using tools such as Cypress.

  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, especially using Azure DevOps, to ensure smooth deployments and integrations.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Front-end developer.

  • Proven track record in building Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.

  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Typescript.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management.

  • Sound knowledge of web development tools and languages.

  • Experience building high-performance, responsive web applications.

  • Familiarity with frameworks such as PlayFramework, React, and especially Angular.

  • Background in UX/UI design.

  • BSc degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

  • Proficiency with Linux in both development and production environments.

  • Experience with automated unit testing and tools such as Cypress.

  • Familiarity with PrimeNG is an advantage.

  • Proficient understanding of version control tools, preferably Git.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup and management.

  • Experience working with web sockets and MQTT is a plus.
