We are hiring for a Systems Engineer who will be responsible for providing system engineering leadership in the design, development, and integration of cross-functional solutions consisting of IT Hardware, COTS Software, custom software delivery and deployment, and IT Architecture solutions.

Candidate must have the ability to work in a team environment within various technical areas, to include:

• System Architecture and Design

• Information Technology

• Infrastructure and Network Engineering

• Formal Testing and requirements sell-off.

Applicant needs a TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance to apply.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with System Engineering practices in performing system design, integration, verification, validation, delivery for IT Infrastructure and Network solutions.

Active TS/SCI with a Poly required to Start

Desired Skills:

• Security + Certification

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communications skills enabling him/her to work effectively across the program.

• Experience with current hardware technologies - VM/virtualization and hyper-converged technologies, cloud technologies (AWS)

• Experience in architecting IT solutions using COTS software and hardware systems

• Experience with shared storage technologies (SAN, FC, NFS, etc.)

• Experience with Standard and distributed virtual networking (firewalls, switches)

• Experience with Cross Domain Solutions

• Familiarity with Cyber Security concepts and solutions

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
