Job Description:

Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Project/Task Manager at GDIT. Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business. In this role you will lead a task order response team and process to respond to Task Order requests aligned with a large, very active IDIQ. This will include technical, cost, and staffing deliverables aligned with the IDIQ supporting Intelligence Community customers by developing and ensuring the timely submission of high quality, compliant and compelling task order responses.

The responsibility for determining our customers' needs and priorities and helping to shape customer acquisitions to position GDIT to win makes this both a challenging and rewarding opportunity!

**This position is a Hybrid schedule and requires being onsite in the Herndon office location a few days per week.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :

  • Lead the development of concurrent task order responses of varying size for a high visibility IDIQ in collaboration with a team of experts in diverse areas.

  • Interact effectively, both verbally and in writing, with senior leadership and staff including capture managers, program/project managers, portfolio lead, solution architects, and others throughout the development of the task order responses.

  • Develop a compelling response strategy that results in a high quality, compliant response that will evaluate well and have the optimal win probability.

  • Manage and be accountable for compliance and the timely submission of the responses by managing and controlling all process activities against the established schedule and the IDIQ requirements.

  • Conduct responses reviews that effectively achieve useful, actionable comments and recommendations from the review teams.

  • Effectively communicate and lead technical experts (e.g., graphics) to achieve the objectives of the proposal effort. The position requires the ability to coach solution architects and subject matter experts in persuasive writing.

  • Effectively communicate with GDIT leadership about the proposal effort status, risks, and proposed mitigations.

  • Work under pressure -- This is a highly collaborative position that requires ability to work under pressure and under challenging deadlines of proposals.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of related industry experience in large government contracting environments. In lieu of degree, 9 years of related experience is required.

  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing concurrent task order responses for the Intelligence Community including all volumes (technical, staffing/management, cost, and others).

  • Demonstrated experience applying the rigor of formal response processes in the development of task order responses.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and applying project/task management artifacts including but not limited to the following: schedule, outline, compliance matrix, review in-briefs and de-briefs, and others.

  • Possess strong time management and prioritization skills, strong communication/language skills, excellent attention to detail, and good judgement in decision-making.

  • Advanced MS Word and MS Office skills are required.

  • Hybrid schedule: requires being onsite in the Herndon office a few days/week

  • Must possess an Active Secret Clearance (or higher)

  • Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI + Poly is preferred

  • Strongly prefer 5+ years of response management experience mostly with task order opportunities often requiring hardware/software solutions in addition to technical approach and other volumes.

  • Possess strong time management and prioritization skills, strong communication/language skills, excellent attention to detail, and good judgement in decision-making.

  • APMP certification and/or PMP certification

  • Relevant experience outside of response management (e.g., project management, capture management) that enriches response management capabilities.
