Position Description

IT Infrastructure and Modernization Program Manager

Serco has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and results-driven IT Infrastructure and Modernization Program Manager to lead strategic enterprise-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing technological capabilities. Your combination of technical expertise, program management skills, and leadership capabilities will drive IT infrastructure modernization projects. This role requires a forward-thinking individual with a proven track record in managing complex programs, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of enterprise-wide IT initiatives with large Federal Civilian agency. Successful candidates must be willing to undergo a background investigation and able to gain a public trust clearance.

In this role you will:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive, long-term IT infrastructure support and response plan aligned with organizational objectives.

  2. Effectively manage large-scale enterprise-wide IT infrastructure initiatives, scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring successful project completion.

  3. Provide clear direction, motivation, and support to team members. Services will include IT services desk support, IT hardware repaid, customer support service, email and messaging services and network support.

  4. Collaborate with government stakeholders to align IT infrastructure services with agency goals and requirements.

  5. Communicate program goals, progress, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  6. Implement Agile methodologies to facilitate iterative and adaptive project management.

  7. Identify opportunities for technology enhancements and stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices.

  8. Ensure that IT infrastructure projects adhere to relevant regulatory and contractual requirements.

  9. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project progress and success.

  10. Analyze complex issues, troubleshoot challenges, and make data-driven decisions to ensure program success.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (9+ years) in managing complex enterprise-wide IT infrastructure programs.

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, technologies, and modernization strategies to include Service Now.

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.

  • Experience managing a team of vendors and subcontractor effectively and direct resources as needed.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, think critically, and drive results.

  • Public Trust Clearance.
