Description

The Operations Research Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements as part of the system development lifecycle and changes being contemplated to a portfolio of systems. The Operations Research Analyst will provide research frameworks, conduct statistical analysis, simulate and build analytical models that provide a predictive outcome of design decisions.

Requirements

Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in a business-related field, and over 7 years of experience as a Database Administrator. Ideally the candidate will have experience supporting the Department of Navy logistics and supply chain business systems or similar custom legacy portfolios. Active secret security clearance is required.

· Proven experience working using analysis and modeling to solve problems

· Operational knowledge of supply chain, logistics and acquisition management systems

· Ability to document frameworks, defend methodologies

· Contribute to project management artifacts and technical documentation requirements

· Knowledge of information management systems and emerging technologies

· Experience presenting courses of actions and recommendations to stakeholders and key leaders

· Ability to conduct an analysis of alternatives

· Strong excel or experience with other modeling tools

· Team player with the ability to work across functional and technical stakeholders

· Must have or be able to achieve Cyber Security Workforce Certification, IAM-II
