Honeywell Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) - Compliance in Herndon, Virginia

As a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) - Compliance, you will develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified, or sensitive materials, documents, and equipment. You will investigate security violations and prepare reports. You will identify opportunities to improve security operations efficiency. You will develop procedures by which security plans can be created efficiently for new customers, programs, and personnel.

Responsibilities Include:

• Establish systematic methods of coordinating security processes and sharing security information among various locations

• Coordinate personnel security clearance requirements with various government entities

• Conduct required security education for employees, to include initial security briefings and annual refresher training

• Process and maintain classified document accountability records and provide security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254's and security guidance

• Submit required reports to Honeywell management and the government

• Assist with physical security and information security requirements

• Provide backup coverage to the Security Team at all ACST locations and assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security procedures as required by the Cleared Facility and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)

• Travel involved

U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements

MUST HAVES

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in security role such as an CPSO/CSSO/SSO for SCI or SAP programs, with in-depth knowledge of the DOD IC regulatory manual

• High School Diploma or GED

WE VALUE

• Proficient level of understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), CFR 32 117, the NISPOM Overprint, and DoD SAP Manuals & ICD series manuals

• Security policies and procedures
