Position Role Type:

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a candidate SME with an extensive Technical Communications Development and exploitation experience. The candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced customer environment supporting high profile operational requirements. This individual will assist the organization with specific knowledge and insight and understanding of signals communication with experience both Low Probability of Detect/Low Probability of Intercept (LPD/LPI) systems to support the technical collections and operations mission. The successful candidate must have experience working within teaming environments across the customers spectrum. In addition, the candidate must also manage partner and stakeholder relationships while operating independently with minimal supervision. Extensive Experience in leading large, successful operations in a highly matrixed compartmented organization is preferred.

Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with poly with crossover eligible.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences

  • Thrives is a fast-paced environment while prioritizing and managing operational awareness

  • Analyses of complex systems and interoperable and reliable communication networks

  • Must have 15 years of applicable Communication development and exploit experience

  • Architecture definition and performance evaluation of complex processing techniques and systems in support of communication acquisition and operations

  • Knowledge of Digital signal processing algorithms and compiles data points from a multitude of IC tools designed for technical packages

  • Analyze, develop, integrate and refine end to end simulation, modeling, and signal path analysis, with link budgets for baseline and off-nominal scenarios, as well as dynamic coverage propagation where applicable

  • Performed highly in-depth analysis of complex and significant interest to the Intelligence Community

  • Articulately communicate RF communication systems (terrestrial, microwave, VSAT, and cellular) protocols and provide detailed briefings to officials and partners within the mission center

  • Provide subject matter expertise on regional communication issues with regards to foreign mission entities, trends and operational anomalies

  • Identifies information gaps/potential threats by evaluation of communication tools using a variety of analytical methodologies and intelligence data sets and trends

  • Ability to brief management on progress and findings associated to the mission needs

  • Works closely with operational elements executing specific missions, with a particular reference to building partnerships with operational organizations and teams

  • Managed multi-organizational teams and or coordinated closely with mission partners within an open -source intelligence collection department

  • Designs, develops, and integration, and test of complex systems in maritime, terrestrial, and space domains and briefs presentations on current communications intelligence and solutions knowledge of communication risk assessments and vulnerabilities of complex operational systems and techniques

  • Ability to hit the ground running on day 1 work day

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Physics, or Systems Engineering with 15 years of technical experience. Additional experience maybe substituted in lieu of a degree

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
