Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented CNO Developer Intern to join our team in the Herndon, VA office or as a remote/virtual employee.

Major Job Functions:

  • Write software in C, Python, and/or assembly language

  • Work and collaborate within an agile team as well as with the other interns

  • Reverse engineer system components as necessary

  • Understand the security of systems

  • Research tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding, and network security and encryption

Preferences :

  • A passion for low-level / embedded software development and engineering

  • Strong grasp of operating system fundamentals, including interrupts, threading, virtual memory, device drivers and memory management techniques

  • Knowledge and understanding of operating system internals and the integration of code with the operating system kernel

  • Experience with reverse engineering

Requirements:

  • Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
