Southern Bancorp Facilities Support Assistant - 2328 in Hernando, Mississippi

This position is for a (Facilities Support Assistant) located in Hernando, MS.

Summary:

 The Facilities Support Assistant plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the Facilities Department.  This position performs various administrative tasks, coordinates activities, and provides excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:  Create, receive and complete work and purchase orders with accuracy, route to the appropriate channel, and support team projects as coordinated with the Facilities Director. Receive and process all invoices including verification of services provided and submit to Accounts Payable to ensure payment in a timely manner. Track costs of projects compared to budget and update project list. Maintain and organize department files, both electronic and hard copies, including branch, vendor, and maintenance records. Schedule service and maintenance requests and coordinate with vendors and branches. Perform entry and maintenance in facilities software; provide regular and ad hoc reports. Maintain vendor insurance policies and request updated information when needed. Monitor department email and respond in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications or Qualifications:

Associates degree with five years' experience in administrative role.  Bachelor's degree in accounting or construction preferred.
