Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.

What your background should look like:

You will play a fundamental role in achieving our sales growth targets and driving our aligned sales/marketing initiatives through a passion to serve. Your main responsibilities will be to:

Meets target for specific accounts/locations as assigned

Manage all commercial aspects with the customer including relationship and regular contact with customer key stakeholders

Managing and preparing offers, project contracts and quotations, leading price and contract negotiations

Develop, enhance and grow customer relationships through lead generation and building an opportunity pipeline

Manage inbound leads to convert to new opportunities and drive revenue growth

Sell the value propositions of TE products and services

Demonstrate technical expertise and superior service while influencing buying decisions through our innovative product solutions

Team up with Channel/Distribution partner to close deals

Communicate with customers inbound and outbound via email, telephone, online chat service and social media

Document program activity via salesforce and other relevant systems

Make occasional customer visits to strengthen relationship

Key Qualifications, Experiences & Knowledge

Minimum of 2 / 2+ years of relevant experience in a customer facing role (customer service, retail)

Customer care, inside sales, outside sales and/or field engineer experience or graduate with technical education

Inside sales or consultative selling experience

Relevant product or industry experience

Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

Excellent phone and consultative selling skills

Proven ability to initiate, organize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner

Bring creative and new ideas to work

Must be resilient and prefer an environment that embraces change

Must be able to win Customers through storytelling and engaging conversations

Particular Skills & Abilities required

Excellent relationship and communication skills

A passion for serving and helping customers

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organization functions (inside and outside of TE)

Strong selling, presentation and negotiation skills

Fluency in English and language skills according to customer’s location

Compensation

Competitive pay commensurate with experience: $XX to $XX per hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
