Insight Global Sharepoint Developer - Onsite in SD in El Cajon, California

Job Description

An employer in San Diego is looking for a Sharepoint Developer to join the team. This person will design and develop portal content and applications that integrate with other enterprise systems and third-party products by collaborating with departmental stakeholders to understand business needs and departmental goals, create SharePoint sites, automation and workflows that assist business processes and improve productivity, and implement solutions that utilize appropriate on- and off- premises resources to best meet the defined objectives. They will integrate non-SharePoint related services into SharePoint applications as needed by working with vendors, the IT engineering, and business stakeholders to leverage third-party services and data to build robust and scalable integrated applications.

They will recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades by staying up to date on platform updates, improvements, and bug-fixes and researching emerging SharePoint development tools and strategies. About 50% of their day will be spent managing existing Sharepoint sites, 50% will be spent building out new Sharepoint sites and gathering requirements, as well as decommissioning old sites.

Skills and Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience implementing SharePoint and Microsoft Azure technologies in an on-prem or hybrid cloud deployment

  • 2-3 years of experience working in PowerApps, focused on automation

  • Experience working with document management platforms such as SharePoint, OnBase, or ApplicationXtender null
