Super Soccer Stars puts the FUNdamentals in soccer education for children ages 1-12 in curriculum-based classes throughout Northeast Nashville. You'll get to be silly, laugh, and teach kids about the game of soccer. You will go home at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference in the life of a child.

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for teaching and inspiring young children through play and positive encouragement and role modeling. Our program is designed for children ages 12 months and up, and this role will focus on the younger aged players, teaching soccer skills and helping to develop physical literacy, self-confidence, gross motor skills, and socialization skills.

As a Super Soccer Stars coach, you have the opportunity to lead curriculum-based soccer classes for children in preschools, schools, churches, and other locations throughout the Sumner County area, with a heavy focus in Hendersonville and Gallatin. We will provide the training and equipment, and after our certification process, you will be able to lead classes for a nationally-recognized youth enrichment program, focused on soccer FUNdamentals!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working with kids and making an impact in their community, enjoys soccer or just being active, and is looking for a fun, flexible, part-time job. Assistant Coaches start at $18/hour.

Soccer Stars of NE Nashville introduces children to soccer in a fun, non-competitive, inclusive was. We teach the FUNdamentals of soccer through a positive atmosphere, encouraging children to participate in themed age-based activities to develop soccer skills. We stretch from Sumer, Wilson, Robertson, and Rutherford counties to Williamson and Davidson counties. Offices are located in Gallatin, TN. Soccer Stars of NE Nashville is supported by Soccer Stars, headquartered in New York City. We are growing and looking for Coaches to grow with us!

Responsibilities

  • Lead soccer classes for children aged 12 months to 12 years old

  • Develop and execute engaging lesson plans that align with Super Soccer Stars curriculum

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants

  • Provide positive feedback and encourage participation from all children

  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress

  • Attend monthly training sessions and professional development opportunities

  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is properly stored after classes

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children and a passion for teaching

  • Availability to work weekday mornings and afternoons, and potentially some weekends

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lead groups of children in a positive, engaging manner

  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn

  • Reliable transportation to and from classes

  • Ability to pass a background check and be authorized to work in the United States
