Description:

As a Recruiting Manager at Tutor Perini, reporting to the Director of Recruiting, you will have the opportunity to lead the full cycle recruiting process for your assigned business units. This is a newly developed corporate recruiting function that will allow you the opportunity to have a significant personal impact on the success of our recruiting team.

  • Responsible for full life cycle recruiting to include: conducting intake meetings with leaders on newly identified positions, authoring job descriptions, developing and implementing sourcing plans, managing social media and job boards, conducting interviews, dispositioning applicants, coordinating interviews, leading interview debrief meetings, consulting with decision makers on candidate selection and offer terms, negotiating compensation packages, making job offers, and gaining offer acceptance

  • Customer Service focused towards hiring managers, employee prospects, business unit leaders, hiring teams, internal employees, and human resources partners

  • Manages relationships with external staffing vendors and partners with agencies to identify candidates

  • Manages ATS application and processes for assigned requisitions following company policies regarding best practices and compliance. Currently using Taleo ATS

  • Responsible for continuous improvement in the areas of Candidate Experience, recruiting best practices and compliance, ensuring all AAP/EEO/DOL and OFCCP rules and regulations are followed

Requirements:

  • 3 or more years recruiting experience in either the construction or engineering sector

  • High School diploma required, and bachelor’s degree is preferred

  • Proficient in MSOffice suite

  • Strong time management, organization, and multi-tasking abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence decision makers

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (5-10%)
