ProCaps Laboratories a leading provider of additive-free vitamin supplements is looking for a

Maintenance Supervisor Nights.

Youll be responsible for providing effective leadership and directing the work of subordinates. Additional duties will be to ensure all preventative maintenance tasks are performed as per schedule.

OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in partnership with Operations Manager and Production Supervisors to maintain and repair production equipment
  • Enforce existing policies and procedures to directly support the Maintenance and Production Departments
  • Implement approved techniques for corrective and preventative maintenance and provide or assist with training to equipment operators and maintenance staff
  • Proficiently installed and repair:
    • All production and facilities support equipment within the boundaries of training from available user manuals, corporate instruction, and personal expertise
    • Plumbing, electrical, electronic, and mechanical applications
  • Schedule and supervise applications of all forms of machine repair/maintenance:
    • Direct the installation and repair of production machinery/equipment
    • Manage all maintenance activities related to machinery and equipment
  • Coordinate services provided by contractor and vendor support related to machinery/equipment repair
  • Ensure effective use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to regularly schedule and document preventative maintenance of machinery/equipment and maintain an accurate parts inventory
  • Select staff, coach performance, and provide ongoing and timely communication regarding performance, training, and development opportunities
  • Ensure proper monitoring and documentation of the Spare Parts Management System
  • Provide backup support for the Maintenance and Facilities Manager when he/she is out of the plant
  • Coordinate with Process Engineering, Product Development, and Quality Assurance for process and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to a working environment that allows all employees equal opportunities for development, growth, and advancement
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS)

  • Bachelors Degree required in a technical discipline and a minimum of two years related experience in Maintenance Operations, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of the manufacturing equipment and quality control procedures used in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to forecast, analyze, and identify improvement opportunities in the Maintenance Department
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in order to be able to lead Maintenance employees to the completion of their assigned job duties
  • Be able to demonstrate analytical ability in identifying problems, developing solutions, and implementing a course of action
  • Licensed Electrician preferred
  • PC Skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other corporate software programs or comparable software
  • Safety experience to include the ability to provide proper training and oversight for all Maintenance employees
