ProCaps Laboratories Inventory Control Specialist in Henderson, Nevada
INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST
WHAT YOULL DO
As the Inventory Control Specialist, youll be responsible for all tasks required to maintain accurate inventory records, including daily cycle counting, reconciliation, and accurately maintaining inventory balances and movements. Additional duties will be to coordinate and participate in physical inventory events.
OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory
- Perform daily cycle counts, and reconcile actual stock count
- Perform data entry for various inventory transactions
- Verify warehouse picks to confirm the accuracy of part codes, quantities, and lot numbers
- Verify and enter material usage data to ensure accurate/timely job closing
- Ensure that all documentation and databases match
- Provide support to production, planning, and warehouse personnel involving material movement, and inventory levels
- Assess current processes and practices and identify opportunities for improvement
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2 years inventory or warehouse experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- Ability to compute basic math
- Self-motivated; ability to work well with others and independently
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Possess the ability to operate a pallet jack and scissor lift in a safe and appropriate manner
- Be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands
