JOB SUMMARY:

The Laborer is responsible for performing general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving material. Laborers also assist with a variety of functions related to manual labor tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Operate assigned equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Understand and follow all Federal, State, Local, and Corporate safety regulations and policies.

  • Climb ladders, reaching overhead, bending, pulling on wrenches, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Maintain a clean working environment.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.

  • Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Perform all work in accordance with YBP Safety policies.

  • The work is performed outdoors and/or indoors, enduring heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other elements.

  • Capable of operating various types of heavy equipment and/or machinery.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

  • Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Capable of working at height and in confined spaces.

  • Capable of shoveling wet, sticky, material for extended periods of time.
