Position Summary: This role involves verifying invoices, reconciling statements, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The Accounts Payable Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of shared inboxes
Support vendor maintenance workflows
Periodic statement reconciliations
Regular review of open receipts reports
Efficiently and accurately process invoices on a timely basis
Ensure integrity of GL and VAT accuracy
Matching invoices to purchase orders
Efficient query resolution
Qualifications
Technical competencies
Highly computer literate, including intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Organised, self-motivated with excellent written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail
Problem solving skills and experience of query resolution an advantage.
Previous AP experience within a high transaction volume company preferable
An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills
