The Network and Edge group (NEX) at Intel drives the software-defined transformation of the world's infrastructure - in data centers, in networks, and at the edge.

We are seeking a Software Product Manager to work on Intel’s Edge Platform, an edge-native software platform that simplifies development, deployment and management of edge AI applications. Your role will specialize on defining edge services, orchestration, and tooling of Edge-Native and Edge AI applications. Your role involves crafting a product roadmap that aligns with our business objectives, prioritizing features that enhance large scale deployment of Edge AI applications to the edge. Collaboration with key stakeholders and ability to work with cross-functional teams is crucial to ensure seamless execution and successful delivery of the product strategy and roadmap. Your responsibilities encompass understanding market dynamics, staying informed about the latest advancements in edge computing, and translating customer needs into actionable product plans. Successful candidates will bring a strong blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills to drive the evolution and market success of our software products in Edge Computing.

The Software Product Manager should possess the following attributes in addition to the qualifications listed below.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in addressing challenges unique to edge computing.

  • Willingness to stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in edge computing.

  • Willingness to speak and travel to domestic and international industry events and or customers

Qualifications

What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field with 8+ years’ experience OR a Masters degree in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field and 4+ years of related experience OR a Phd in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field with 2+ years’ experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, software development or software architecture

  • 8+ of experience in distributed computing or cloud computing concepts, architectures, and best practices.

  • 8+ years’ experience cross-functional teams, engineering, design, and architects to execute against the product roadmap.

  • 8+ years’ experience developing product strategy and product roadmap with a customer-centric approach.

How to Stand out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Advance degree in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field with 10+ years’ experience.

  • Proven track record of launching new software product.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, engineering, design, and architects to execute against the product roadmap.

  • Experience in product management in developing products for application development or application orchestration

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $141,673.00-$241,005.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
