Overview

The Salesforce Administrator will help continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions. The Salesforce Administrator will collaborate on all aspects of user management including support cases, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction being a priority.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and input all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules.
  • Manage Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
  • Capable of building, testing and deploying all configuration changes.
  • Be able to manage a multi-sandbox environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to Identify and gather business and technical requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features.
  • Work with the teams to develop platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders.
  • Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders.
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed.
  • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and support procedures, processes, application configurations and related materials for users.
  • Manage and address user support cases.
  • Monitor and improve user adoption.
  • Conduct new user and ongoing user training.
  • Technical documentation.
Skills Required
  • Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration.
  • Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases.
  • Experience supporting both sales and service cloud.
  • Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities.
  • Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access.
  • Knowledge of importing salesforce object data and generating Salesforce reports.
  • A proactive attitude to platform enhancements.
  • Designing scalable, best practice solutions.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to liaise and collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders at all levels including Sales, Customer Support, Customer Success, Legal IT, Finance, Professional Services, HR, Product and Engineering.
  • Translating requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in change management and governance.
  • Training end users and key stakeholders.

  • 3-4 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator, experience with a fast-paced SaaS company.
  • Salesforce CPQ experience a must.
  • Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification.
  • Salesforce Revenue Cloud related certification(s) and experience.
