As a High School Family Consumer Science Teacher, you will work as part of a team that serves nearly 8,000 students at 18 campuses across Helena. These positions serve a 187 day contract scheduled for 7 hours a day. Starting salary range is $42,239 - $67,750.83 based on education and experience in addition to a competitive benefit plan including but not limited to.sick and personal leave, health benefit plan with dental and vision coverage, life insurance, a section 125 plan, numerous tax sheltered annuity options and tuition reimbursement.   • Teach district approved curriculum.

  • Develop lesson plans and instructional material.

  • Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.

    Who we are looking for: To become part of this dedicated team, you must have a Montana teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsement. The ideal candidate will possess multiple endorsement areas, and at least a year of successful teaching experience in Family Consumer Science with emphasis on culinary arts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will need meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.
