St. Peters Health Environmental Service Technician - 1.0 FTE in Helena, Montana

JOB SUMMARY (overview of job): Performs a variety of duties associated with conference room set up, and cleaning of areas. Performs carpet care procedures including extracting and restorative care. Performs hard floor daily maintenance and restorative care. Performs upholstery cleaning functions. May be assigned to assist with various duties within the environmental services department.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Sufficient experience to demonstrate ability to accept responsibilities as an Environmental Services Technician. Preferred three to six months work experience cleaning carpets and stripping and waxing floors.

EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: None.

Aptitudes: Ability to achieve cognitive, organization and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple tasks, stresses, deadlines, difficult situations and/or customers. Possesses interpersonal/communication skills necessary for effective, non-judgmental, and empathetic patient care and customer relations. *Ability to operate production equipment, telephone and computer. *Tolerance for varied temperature and humidity conditions.
