St. Peters Health Echo Tech - 1.0 FTE in Helena, Montana

This position’s primary responsibility is to perform quality echocardiograms, while assisting as necessary with EKG’s, applying Holter monitors, preparing and assisting with Exercise Stress Tests, Pharmacologic Stress Testing, and other diagnostic tests as necessary. This position communicates continuously with physician about patient condition. This position operates all equipment safely and correctly. This position assists coworkers in maintenance of necessary PAR levels. This position works with the department director in orientation of new employees, provides input for employee evaluations, and collaborates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the department. This position participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities and assists with maintaining necessary quality reports. This position understands and adheres to safety policies and procedures when working in radiation-controlled areas. This position communicates respectfully and effectively with clinic and hospital staff.

APtitudes: Demonstrated ability to achieve cognitive, organization and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple tasks, stresses, deadlines, difficult situations and/or customers required. Demonstrated ability for interpersonal and communication skills necessary for effective, non-judgmental, and empathetic patient care and customer relations required. Demonstrated ability to receive feedback and ability to adapt to a changing environment required, which requires flexibility in scheduling and department assignments.
