BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Project Manager (m/f/i) Medication Delivery Solutions - Central Europe in Heidelberg, Germany

Job Description Summary

The Project Manager (m/f/i) will manage regional projects in Central Europe (CE, CEE & Israel) which are part of the larger strategic program "Recode" within the business unit “Medication Delivery Solutions” (MDS).

BD initiated project "Recode" to simplifying selected product lines to better serve our customers, including simplifying the ordering process, reducing back-orders and shortening lead times, improving our ability to provide account support as well as allowing BD to invest more in other products within our portfolio and future innovations.

The Project Manager (m/f/i) will provide project management support for assigned medium to large sized projects (typically projects of moderate complexity, medium to high risk and cost) and leads the projects through building effective relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders as well as through advanced project management techniques and methodologies working with each of the country project teams.

This is a remote/home-office position with a travel frequency of approx. 20% within Central Europe.

Job Description

  • Analyse data to drive business insights and product management planning, prioritizing the implementation plans

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (both local and regional) in developing communications, product documentation and sales collateral

  • Communication and engagement with external customers, including market shaping and contract review

  • Presentation and communication updates to internal stakeholders and senior leadership

Required qualifications & competencies

You have a strong track record (min. 3 years) of delivering complex projects on time as well as working within an international matrix organization. Ideally, you are coming from the medical devices or healthcare industry, having additional previous experience in sales or marketing roles and are business savvy with a strong commercial mind-set.

You demonstrate strategic agility, strong conceptual and problem-solving thinking and analytical skills as well as an ability to learn and quickly assess a complex situation. Furthermore, you are a professional and natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining effective and strong relationships with all levels of internal and external staff.

Further requirements are:

  • Project Management Qualification, e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK or IPMA ICB

  • Fluency in English and German is required, additional Eastern-European language skills would be a plus

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Agile and results driven with a strong focus on business and reporting analytics

  • Embody trust, integrity and ethics inside and outside the company

  • Performance orientated and able to work to delivery of agreed targets
