Liaise with Global Distribution Systems technical teams in testing and deploying code, and gathering SOX and process compliance evidence, and debugging production build issues. Install and configure solutions, implement reusable components, translate technical requirements, assist with all stages of test data, develop interface stubs and simulators, and perform script maintenance and updates. Work together with the development teams in creating solutions for the purpose of deploying and monitoring software/applications. Design and build scripts and automation frameworks to continuously improve efficiencies and accuracy of the software build, integration, release, and deployment processes. Create and maintain process documentation, including software build procedures, build manifests, configuration specifications and audit reports. Conduct periodic reviews of user access to the source code repository and work with designated staff to maintain the authorized access and permissions. Ensure SOX audits are complete and automate the collection process. Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews. Review solution architecture and detail design with Business Partners. Promote process improvement in requirement gathering, defect resolution and communication with vendor and intercompany departments. May lead a team of Build and Release Engineers or supervise projects as needed.Minimum Requirements: A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or as a DevOps Engineer, Consultant, Software Engineer, or in a related occupation.Special Requirements: Must have academic training or experience in each of the following:1.Programming in C, C++, Java, and Unix shell scripting.2.Database languages: Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.3.Operating systems: Unix, Windows, or QNS.4.Version control systems: GIT or PVCS.5.Supply chain planning tools.6.Warehouse management systems.May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.Wage range: $112,840 to $161,000/year
