The Sr. Warehouse Operator will perform a variety of tasks including picking orders, wrapping pallets, shipping, receiving, replenishments, loading, and unloading. This role will be cross-trained and will flow to the work as needed in a cross functional position between multiple departments in the warehouse.

Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.

Schedule: 1st Shift, Friday - Sunday (12-hour shifts)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pick products according to order, either manually or with electronic scanning devices

  • Lift, stack and arrange product on a pallet in preparation for shipment

  • Generate labels and prepare paperwork necessary for order shipment

  • Wrap pallets for shipment

  • Load & Unload and stack materials and replenish shelves by using power industrial equipment (i.e. Stand up Reach Forklift, Center control Rider pallet jack, pallet inverter, turret, cherry picker, scissor lift, pallet jack etc.) that may require being lifted in the air up to 40 feet

  • Enter warehouse transactions, cycle counts and receipts into inventory tracking software and complete appropriate documentation

  • Compare identifying information and count items in incoming shipments to verify information against bills of ladings, packing lists, invoices, orders or other records

  • Report and record damaged items

  • Perform all functions according to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) meeting required production standards

  • Perform MHE inspections to ensure food safety and quality standards

  • Engage in Daily Shift meetings using 2-way communications to review shift actual results to goals

  • Perform general housekeeping tasks within warehouse

  • Perform other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment in a high-volume manufacturing, warehousing, or nutritional supplement industry required

  • Prior experience operating a Stand-Up Reach Forklift required

  • Center Control Rider Pallet Jack required

SKILLS:

  • Basic computer skills

  • Basic mathematical skills

  • Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Expected high performance behaviors:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds with assistance

  • Regularly stand, pull, squat, walk, kneel, reach, climb, and/or balance for 8 to 10 hours daily

  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, talk and effectively hear and listen while being exposed to various levels of traffic from material handling equipment
