Job Information

Spears Mfg Machinist CNC/Conventional in HAZLE TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania

     Machining experience is a minimum requirement for this position. CNC experience is plus. Spears Manufacturing Hazleton Pennsylvania, a world leader in the manufacturing and distribution of plastic valves, fittings and pipe since 1969 is currently seeking to add another Machinist. This is a career position with a national company that has over 24 plants and distribution centers throughout the country.

 

The ideal canidate will have training and/or formal education in the machining field to include any, or a combination of manaual or CNC mills and lathes.

Profiecency in blue print reading and use of inspection equipment (mics, calipers, thread gages etc...)

Working knowledge of tooling, fixtures, feeds and speeds and secondary machine shop equipment (drill press, belt sander)

Able to set up , change tools and adjust offsets on CNC equipment is a plus
