Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Job Summary:

Gottstein Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will provide support in various accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general administrative tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable:
    • Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
    • Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Generate and send customer invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
    • Assist in the collection of outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
    • Organize and file accounting documents for easy retrieval.
  • Bank Reconciliation:
    • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Assist in monitoring cash flow and reporting variances.
  • General Administrative Support:
