Aerotek Electrical Maintenance Tech (35-42) in Hazelwood, Missouri

Description:

The primary role of the Electro-Mechanical Tech is to provide competent & effective Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance support to the Plant and Facility operations in a SAFE manner. The Maintenance Electro-Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, adjusting and repairing of plant machinery to meet industry standards.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Installed, and/or troubleshoot and repair Manufacturing equipment such as: assembly, conveyors, forming, mixing. • Follows work instructions and OSHA safety rules, including the use of all PPE and other safety equipment in an industrial environment. • Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, detect and replace defective items, test and make final adjustments for high speed production equipment. • Diagnose and repair all electrical functions. • Must be able to prioritize and triage in a fast-paced work environment. • Must be able to maintain equipment in accordance with diagrams and manufactures specifications while following preventative maintenance work orders and scheduled PM’S. • Generate work orders, and parts request. • Be able to use some machine shop, and other related machines as required to repair parts or fabricate modifications. • Complete work orders and PMs and the documentation for that work • Ability to use mechanical and pneumatic processes: including cylinders and glue machines, date coders. • Operate equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, and other appropriate equipment • Maintain current GMP, Safety, Food Safety, & technical knowledge by actively participating in training. • Some of the OEMs we use are buhler ovens, Aagard palletizing, Cavanna packaging, Delta and bosch wrappers, Delkor closers and trayformers • Experience with automated processes such as servo drives, kinetix drives, safety interlock systems, HMI interface

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following list that follows is representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required: • 5+ years of experience working in the manufacturing/production line industry as an experienced level maintenance mechanic. • Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift if required and flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed. Weekends are scheduled every other week as we work a 2-2-3 schedule.
