Robert Half Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist in Hayward, California

Description

Our client is an industry leading manufacturing company located in the East Bay. They are looking for a senior accounts receivable specialist to join their team today. This is a hybrid position which does require a few days in the office every week.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process using SAP software.

  • Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to customers.

  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.

  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.

  • Process customer payments, reconcile accounts, and prepare bank deposits.

  • Review credit limits and release orders based on credit policies.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounts receivable reports for management review.

  • Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.

  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to accounts receivable.

    Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a senior role.

  • Proficiency in SAP ERP software and advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
