Position Title:Audiologist

Minimum 1+ years Audiologist experience required.

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Audiologist to join our school district in

Haysville,

Kansas. As a School Audiologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the auditory needs of

our

students, ensuring that they have equal access to educational opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Conduct hearing screenings for students to identify hearing impairments.

Assess and evaluate the auditory needs of students with hearing loss.

Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to develop and implement effective

intervention

plans.

Provide individualized support to students with hearing difficulties, including the use of

assistive

listening devices.

Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute expertise and

insights.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of audiometric assessments and interventions.

Educate school staff and parents on strategies to support students with hearing impairments.

Stay informed about advancements in audiology and assistive technology.

Qualifications:

Master\'s degree in Audiology or related field.

Current state licensure as an Audiologist.

Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Experience working with school-aged children preferred.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
