Central Farm Service Operations - Grain in Hayfield, Minnesota

Position Title: Grain Elevator Operator - Clarks Grove/Owatonna locations Primary Objective: Assist in the daily operation of grain facilities to maintain efficiency and quality while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities of the Position: Perform the operational functions of grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, conditioning and loading out. Monitor stored grain condition to assure quality. Assist Elevator Production Manager with facility compliance of all state and federal regulations. Carry out housekeeping, maintenance and identification programs for the facility and assigned vehicles/equipment. Observe and enforce all company policies and safety regulations. Assist other departments at this location and within the company as needed. Qualifications for the Position: High School Graduate Grain and/or agricultural background Have a Federal Grain Inspection/Weighing License or obtain one Mechanical aptitude Ability to operate machinery and equipment such as tractors and trackmobiles Possess good communication skills CDL with proper endorsements or ability to obtain one Other: Performs other duties and responsibilities as appropriate and assigned. Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 80 pounds, have full use of both arms and legs and good finger dexterity. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, reach above, below and at shoulder level, work on or with moving machinery, and at heights.
