Regional Sales Manager in Training

We’re seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager in Training to join our New York team! This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills and sales acumen while making a significant impact in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.

Solar is expected to grow 400% in the next 2 years, so now is the time to join our high performing sales team as we focus on continuing to grow our business

Responsibilities

  • Run weekly sales calls, monthly sales meetings and oversee employee trainings as required

  • Participate in a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed as a Regional Sales Manager

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing coaching and support to team members to optimize their performance

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region, contributing to the growth and expansion of Trinity Solar's market presence

  • Conduct in-home and over-the-phone sales to warm prospects and pursue multiple outbound marketing initiatives that include canvassing, events, referrals and personal marketing to source new solar clients

  • Initiate contact with potential customers who have not yet expressed interest, using a persuasive and informative approach

  • Conduct thorough discovery conversations to uncover pain points, challenges, and goals of potential customers

  • Listen actively and ask relevant questions to gather comprehensive information

  • Present solutions that directly address the prospect's identified needs and align with their objectives

  • Overcome objections and negotiate terms to bring about successful closures

  • Maintain focus on achieving and exceeding assigned sales quotas

  • Regularly update CRM systems with accurate and detailed information obtained during interactions with prospects

  • Continuously prospect for new leads and opportunities within the designated territory to ensure a healthy pipeline of potential sales

  • Customize demonstrations to highlight features and capabilities most relevant to the prospect's needs

  • Address questions and concerns effectively during and after the demo to maintain interest and move the sales process forward

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven inside sales experience (2-4years)

  • Previous Solar Sales experience is required

  • Demonstrated ability to over-achieve quota consistently

  • Strong phone and in-home presence

  • Proficient with CRM systems and video conferencing tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Effective listener with strong presentation capabilities

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Sales management experience required

  • 2+ years’ work experience in In-Home Sales

  • Lead generation via personal networking

  • Must be flexible working weekend and evening appointments

  • Must be able to self-generate leads

  • Inside & Outside sales position will involve travel to client’s homes

  • Highly persuasive, self-disciplined, and honest

  • Problem solving skills

  • Articulate with excellent communication skills

  • Able to analyze and be technically sound with numbers and technology

  • High energy, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills

  • Must be computer proficient (+CRM tool preferred)

  • Must have access to reliable transportation

  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

  • Applicants must be 18 years old or older

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Base plus uncapped competitive commission

  • Pay range: $80,000 - $200,000 with top reps exceeding $300K
