DISTRICT 4 HRDC Executive Director in HAVRE, Montana

The Executive Director has the overall responsibility for the planning, implementation and day-to-day oversight and management of the financial, program and administrative aspects of the organization. The Executive Director ensures full compliance with Federal, State, and Local guidelines in the administration of all agency sponsored programs. Special Information: The Executive Director reports to and receives guidance from the Board of Directors Competencies/ Essential Duties: 1. Demonstrates ability to manage staff, oversee multiple programs and to communicate effectively orally and in writing. 2. Knowledge of Federal, State and local regulations and policies. 3. Grant Writing 4. Must be able to work positively with volunteers and staff of Agency programs maintaining honest and open lines of communication. 5. Supervision and Leadership of staff 6. Financial Management overseeing fiscal operations and processes 7. Community Development 8. Planning and Program Management Preferred Qualifications- 1. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Social Science or a related degree required, Master's Degree preferred. Ten years' experience in the human services field with five years' management experience in a not-for-profit community based service organization preferred. 2. Must possess a valid Montana driver's license and vehicle liability insurance, must have a good driving record and meet insurability requirements for agency automobile insurance policy.
