Havelock Chamber of Commerce Administrative Assistant (Part-time) in Havelock, North Carolina

The Havelock Chamber of Commerce is hiring an Administrative Assistant (Part-time)

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Answerphones
  • Handle and respond to incoming emails
  • Maintain and troubleshoot office equipment
  • Greet Visitors for the Chamber and Havelock Tourist and Event Center
  • Assist visitors coming into the area in person, by phone and email, and advocate for Havelock
  • Assist and compile new resident relocation packages.
  • Maintain Chamber and Tourist Center brochures, business cards, and flyers
  • File monthly VIC reports and provide information to the Tourist and Event Center Sales Manager
  • Event support and participation as needed, sometimes nights and weekends required
  • Help to prepare for monthly meetings hosted by the Chamber
  • Help maintain a clean and orderly office environment
  • Personal qualities: professional appearance, organization, workspace cleanliness, friendly and positive demeanor, ability to take direction. Flexibility as priorities often change when events are held.
  • Must be self-motivated, have great time management skills, and possess good communication with Executive Director and office peers

Requirements:

  • Must have knowledge and skills to manage multiple social media platforms, computer literacy, excellent customer relations, self-driven, positive, and goal-oriented
  • Working knowledge of MAC and Apple products
  • HS diploma
