As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Quality Inspector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting major quality issues to Senior Quality team

  • Working with inspection team to ensure inspection consistency.

  • To provide inspection services (identified by the Production and Quality Managers)

  • Support the planning of inspection activities based on agreed schedules with Materials Management and Production

  • Assist in the creation of new procedures, techniques, tools etc

  • Work to inspection schedules under general supervision

  • Taking part in the First Article Inspection (FAI) process to ensure all products and updates are inspected

  • Assist in training of quality and production team members

  • Assist in development of statistical methods to reduce inspection

  • Provides support to production solving basic problems

  • Identifying non-conforming parts or products and escalating significant issues to Senior Quality team

  • Notifying design of any errors/inconsistency in inspection requirements

  • Raising non-conforming product reports

  • Liaising with suppliers as appropriate

  • Conduct Material Review Board activities (MRB)

Key Skills/ Experiences:

  • Inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment [essential]

  • Able to interpret Engineering drawings

  • Familiarity with quality disciplines including 8D reporting, 5 Whys and the completion of corrective action reports [essential]

  • Good written and oral communication skills [essential
