::: {role="region" tab="5" aria-labelledby="elementor-tab-title-1315"} Location: Forrest County Campus in Hattiesburg Overview: The Office of Marketing and Recruitment is seeking a Recruiter/Marketing Specialist for our Forrest County Campus. This candidate will play a pivotal role in attracting and enrolling prospective students to PRCC by implementing strategic recruitment initiatives and analyzing enrollment trends. This position will work to source and attract prospective students, assist with college-wide recruitment efforts, produce video, photo, graphics, and social media content, as well as work on college-wide marketing efforts. This candidate will facilitate relationships with all prospective students, district high schools, and community members and pridefully represent PRCC while participating in various events and via several communication venues. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract prospective students to PRCC, with a focus on increasing enrollment and meeting institutional goals.
  • Utilize data analysis and enrollment trends to identify recruitment opportunities, target recruitment efforts, and measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
  • Stay current on trends and best practices in college recruitment, enrollment management, and student success to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conceptualize, create, and disseminate content and marketing strategies.
  • Conduct informational sessions, campus tours, and outreach activities at high schools, college fairs, and community events to engage prospective students and their families.
  • Collaborate with PRCC faculty and staff to develop marketing materials, presentations, and digital content that effectively communicate the value and benefits of attending PRCC.
  • Ability to travel between campuses or other locations for special events and photo/video shoots.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including night and weekend activities.

Work Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present information to individuals and groups.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with enrollment management software and systems.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Status: Full time / 12-month position / Professional Staff
